This website, thejohnscreekmagazine.com, and any related mobile or digital experiences (collectively, the “Site”) are owned and operated by Mighty Rockets LLC, publisher of THE CREEK (“Mighty Rockets,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting or using the Site in any way, including reading articles, signing up for newsletters, submitting forms, or interacting with any other features (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Site.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

If the Site allows reader comments or other public input (now or in the future):

comments may be moderated and approved, edited, or removed at Mighty Rockets LLC’s sole discretion;
we welcome opinions about the topic, content, and quality of a story, but not personal attacks, hate speech, private information about yourself or others, commercial spam, or unrelated links;
if you believe a story contains a factual error, please contact us directly at [editor@thejohnscreekmagazine.com] (update to your preferred editorial email) rather than using comments for corrections.

We reserve the right to close commenting on specific stories or across the Site at any time.

8. Prohibited Uses

16. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

You agree that any dispute or claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County or Gwinnett County, Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

18. No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms are for the benefit of Mighty Rockets LLC and you. They are not intended to give rights to any third party, and no third party may enforce any provision of these Terms.

19. Entire Agreement & Notices

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines posted on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Site and Services, and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings.

We may provide notices to you (including notices of changes to these Terms) by posting them on the Site, by email, or by any other reasonable method.
