Cosplayers, artists, anime fans and online personalities will come together for the biggest MomoCon weekend yet

MomoCon, the multi-genre convention celebrating costuming, comics, gaming, music, visual arts and voice acting will be back at the Georgia World Congress Center, May 21–24. This all-ages annual event is marking its 21st year in 2026, with an impressive expansion and cool new additions.

In 2025, close to 60,000 guests converged on the GWCC for four days of fan-culture fun. This year, organizers are expecting at least that many attendees — from across the U.S. and around the world.

Catering to enthusiastic fans of Japanese anime, American animation, comics and gaming (video games, esports, tabletop and LARP), this year’s MomoCon brings back fan-favorite features from previous years, but is also introducing a new “Wonder Festival at MomoCon” experience that is sure to be a hit.

It is also expanding from one GWCC hall to two, providing a massive amount of space for four days of gaming, playing, shopping and fun.

2026 Highlights

  • Major expansion –MomoCon 2026 will be in both Hall A and Hall B this year, increasing the total space to a massive 1,045,178 square feet for exhibits and gaming.
  • Wonder Festival at MomoCon – Wonder Festival began in Japan and highlights the artistry behind collectible design and production, celebrating professional studios and independent creators who bring characters, creatures and worlds to life. In a 50,000-sq.ft dedicated exhibit area, fans will discover new sculpts, meet artists and celebrate the creative process behind figures, models and garage kits that inspire collectors worldwide.
  • Returning favorites – Artist Alley, Exhibitor’s Hall, Panels, Raves and Afterparties, the Cosplay Showcase, Disney Singing Contest, Movie Screenings, the Classic Arcade, Online Gaming and the “Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC)” section will all make their return at this year’s convention.
  • Live performances, a lip sync contest and a Saturday night concert are also part of the fun.
