On September 18, The Art Center in Johns Creek, a legacy non-profit partner of Fulton County Arts and Culture, will host a 30th Birthday Celebration Gala at St Ives Country Club, marking 30 years of bringing quality arts programming to the North Fulton community.

The Gala will be a joyful gathering honoring The Art Center’s decades of impact in the community and will feature a silent auction that includes original pieces created by some of its talented teaching artists, as well as a live auction hosted by the energetic “Rocktioneer,” Seth Weiner.

Guests will also enjoy a meal of heavy hors d’oeuvres while mingling, listening to live music and playing party games.

Fun with a purpose

Proceeds from the 30th Birthday Celebration Gala benefit The Art Center’s community programming initiatives, which include free and reduced-cost arts programs for underserved and at-risk communities.

The Art Center partners with local Title I schools and non-profit organizations like The Drake House to bring much needed arts education to young children who would otherwise lack access to opportunities to develop their creative skills.

These programs give at-risk youth a healthy outlet to explore feelings and express their unique voices in a supportive environment while also supporting the careers of working artists and educators in our community.

The generosity and support of the Johns Creek community make it possible for The Art Center to continue the expansion of its outreach programs and its on-site education opportunities.

Gala details

Date: Friday September 18
Time: 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
Location: St Ives Country Club, 1 St Ives Country Club Dr., Johns Creek, 30097
