Toro Development Company hosted a celebration event, breaking ground on “Encore,” Phase II of the Medley at Johns Creek development

Toro Development Company (TDC) was joined by Johns Creek Mayor John Bradberry, city officials, business leaders and invited guests for a special celebration on April 14, to mark the groundbreaking of “Encore” — the second phase of the 43-acre, mixed-use Medley community currently under construction in Johns Creek.

Phase II of the project will create an additional 408 multi-family residences and add 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. TDC, along with capital partner Ascentris, a Denver-based real estate private equity firm, closed on the $90M construction loan for Encore earlier this month.

Members of the Toro team, Mayor Bradberry, Johns Creek City Council Members Bob Erramilli, Chris Coughlin and Larry DiBiase, Fulton County Government Commissioner Bridget Thorne and Chair of the Development Authority of Fulton County Kwanza Hall were just a few of the VIP organizers and guests that attended the ceremony.

Opening dates

Medley’s first phase, including office space, multifamily residences and 125,000 square feet of retail will open by October 29, 2026. Encore, its second phase, will open in 2027. An onsite boutique hotel is scheduled to open in 2028.
