The retail and guest experience expert will lead the hospitality program at the 43-acre mixed-use community

Toro Development Company (Toro), the company behind the new Medley development opening in Johns Creek in October, has hired Madilyn Browning as the destination’s concierge manager. Browning will oversee Medley’s resort-level concierge program, which will bring personalized service and five-star hospitality into everyday moments.

Through delivering world-class mixed-use destinations such as Avalon in Alpharetta and Colony Square in Midtown, Toro has demonstrated a commitment to infusing resort-style hospitality into its communities. At Medley, Browning will lead this effort as the onsite leader, coordinate with management and serve as the primary relationship manager for tenants.

She will lead, develop and inspire the concierge team, building a culture rooted in hospitality, professionalism and excellent service.

About Madilyn Browning

Browning is a Johns Creek native with more than a decade of retail and management experience. Most recently, she served as general manager at Tory Burch at Avalon where she managed a multimillion-dollar business while driving client retention, satisfaction and long-term relationship growth.

“People are everything, and as Medley’s concierge manager, I get to ask our team every day what we can do to make a difference in someone’s experience,” said Browning. “When a guest leaves happier than when they arrived, that’s what keeps them coming back. As someone who grew up in Johns Creek and knows firsthand how special Medley will be, I can’t wait to welcome the community for [the] grand opening.”

Concierge services

Thoughtfully positioned in the heart of Medley, concierge services will set the standard for the guest experience. Concierge offers valet parking seven days a week and planning services for restaurant reservations, proposals, birthdays, anniversaries and more. As concierge manager, Browning will also oversee Medley Reserve, a membership-based perks program designed to elevate the everyday experience through exclusive offers, curated benefits and personalized service.

“Madilyn has spent her career creating exceptional guest experiences, and her genuine love for community building makes her the perfect onsite leader for Johns Creek’s new Third Place,” said Paul Bodine, vice president of community at Toro and general manager of Medley.

“Our team knows what it takes to run a premier mixed-use community, and we are applying those learnings to continue sharpening our approach and raising the bar at Medley,” Bodine added.

About Medley

Located at the intersection of Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry Road, Medley features 145,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space; 883 luxury residences, featuring a mix of townhomes and apartments; a 25,000-square-foot Plaza that will be programmed with up to 100 events per year; a 150-key boutique hotel; and 110,000 square feet of lifestyle office space.

Medley will also include a curated public art collection in collaboration with Greg Mike, contemporary artist and founder of ABV Agency & Gallery. The signature program includes a property-wide collection of murals, sculptures and installations.

Medley will celebrate its Grand Opening on October 29 with a series of special events and experiences for the community.
