The highly anticipated opening underscores the mixed-use community’s momentum as Phase I nears completion
Along with the community at large, Toro Development Company (TDC) is celebrating this week’s opening of Trader Joe’s at Medley, the 43-acre mixed-use community under construction in Johns Creek. The June 11 store opening marks the neighborhood grocer’s first location in Johns Creek and sets the stage for the vibrant retail experiences coming to life at Medley this fall. Medley will celebrate its Grand Opening on October 29.
Trader Joe’s at Medley is located at 1000 Medley Blvd., just off McGinnis Ferry Road and Johns Creek Parkway. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the community can shop Trader Joe’s celebrated selection of groceries, fresh and prepared foods and exclusive products.
The opening marks a major milestone for Medley, which has reached 78% leased for retail and 82% leased for office space.

More about Medley and TDC
Medley is located at the intersection of Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry Road. At full buildout, the project will encompass 145,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space designed around the public realm; 881 luxury residences, featuring a mix of townhomes and apartments; a 150-key boutique hotel; 110,000 square feet of lifestyle office space; and a 25,000-square-foot Plaza that will be activated with up to 200 events per year.
In addition to Medley, TDC is underway on Overlook, a 301-unit multifamily community integrated within Cumming City Center. Overlook will complement the existing mixed-use environment with thoughtfully designed multifamily residences and lifestyle-driven amenities. First units are expected to deliver in 2027.
